Salero Ranch is a private gated
community of 36 to 45 acre homesites situated in a secluded mountain
valley east of Tubac in southeastern Arizona. The Ranch is rimmed by
the lush foothills of towering Santa Rita Mountains to the north and
the beautiful cliff faces of the Grosvenor Hills to the south. The
Ranch adjoins 5,000 acres of the Sonoita Creek State Natural Area to
the south, and is bordered on the north and east by the 148,000 acre
Coronado National Forest. Recently 3,528 acres of the Ranch were
acquired by the Arizona Game and Fish Department to be preserved in
perpetuity as a natural open space wildlife habitat. Ranch owners
can enjoy a scenic eight mile drive from the eastern border of Unit
5 into the charming town of Patagonia. The beautiful wine country of
Elgin and Sonoita are also nearby.
Bond Canyon Creek frames the entrance to the Ranch. The clear waters
of this seasonally rain fed creek attract wildlife from miles around
and nurture lush stands of Gooding Willows, Ash, Hackberry, Emory
Oaks, and emerald green bulrushes. The land here is richly varied
and offers a broad selection of terrains, landscapes, and solar
facings from which to choose. Elevations range from 4,400' to
5,200'. The contour mapping brings out some of this detail. |
The contour lines are set at 40 foot
intervals. The closer the spacing, the more dramatic the elevation
changes become. Each Salero Ranch property has been custom surveyed
in concert with these natural contours. The result is an outstanding
variety of building sites within each property, which affords every
owner sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Lush native vegetation covers each Salero Ranch property. Properties
here feature beautiful stands of mountain oak and mesquite set amid
open meadowland lushly carpeted with native grasses and mountain
wildflowers. The land is laced throughout with rainfed arroyos,
seasonal creeks, beautiful rock formations, scenic cliff faces and
secluded canyons.
Special Features: Unit 5
properties feature some of the prime view parcels found anywhere on
the Ranch. Their terraced building sites are elevated high above the
valley floor and provide scenic overlooks of the surrounding
wilderness.All properties
subject to sale without notice. |
